This Is Not TIAC

You've only been directed here due to an error in EarthLink's DNS records. This is really on ShellTown, a subsidiary of Saugus.net.

The machine that you were trying to reach, sunspot.tiac.net, may or may not still exist within the EarthLink domain someplace. Searching for TIAC info turned up very little information; however it's a company they purchased some years ago. A bit more about TIAC can be found on this TIAC discussion site.

We're also indirectly connected with TIAC, and that's probably the reason for EarthLink's mix-up. Prior to EarthLink's purchase of TIAC from a company called Inter.net, Saugus.net acquired TIAC's shell connectivity business (if you haven't guessed, it's ShellTown) from Inter.net.

EarthLink insisted that they would have this issue fixed within twenty-four hours. Since the promise was made on Friday, June 9, in the early afternoon, the only question now is how much they'll miss that 24 hours by.
